Statutory Health & Safety + Food Safety

Every employee

Legal H&S induction (SHWWA 2005), manual handling overview, fire safety, chemical agents, slips/trips/falls, first aid, PPE, HACCP basics, allergen awareness, GDPR, dignity at work, young persons, and robbery response.

HACCP & Food Safety (Level 1 + 2)

Food handlers only — deli, coffee, bakery, hot food

EU food law framework, personal hygiene, temperature control (Danger Zone, fridge/freezer, cooking, hot holding, cooling), cross-contamination, cleaning, the 14 allergens, pest control, and the 7 principles + 12 implementation steps of HACCP.

Manual Handling — Theory

Every employee — theory portion

Why manual handling injuries happen, the legal framework (SHWWA 2005 + SI 299/2007), the TILE/TILEO risk assessment model, the 8-step safe lift, push/pull/team lifts, and special considerations. Practical lift assessment to be signed off separately by your Store Manager.

Manager & Area Manager Compliance

Managers only

Your personal legal duties as a manager (Section 80 SHWWA), hiring, contracts, rostering and working time, discipline and dismissal, dignity at work complaints, training records, accident investigation, GDPR controller duties, test purchases, and inspection readiness.
